Record Menu: File menu

When a record or template is displayed, the File menu contains these options:

• Clone record (records only)
• Switch template (records only)

• Save
• Save Template As (templates only)

• Export to MARC
• Send to MARC Report
• Export to RDF
• Export set to RDF

• Print
• Select printer

• Delete
• Close

• Open all records in set
• Close all records in set
• Close all open records

Many of the menu items on the record form have shortcut keys; once you learn them you will be able to quickly perform actions without using the mouse. For example, press <Ctrl><Alt>C to 'C'lone a record, or <Ctrl>S to 'S'ave a record, and so on.

In the user guide for the record menus, we will use the menu command instead of the shortcut key.

To display a list of all shortcut keys defined in RIMMF, just press Ctrl+K
