AggMatch

AggMatch is Windows application that categorizes MARC records into RDA categories of Work or Manifestation.

The program was developed to assist Deborah in her research into Aggregates as part of the UW MARC Mapping and Transformation Project (ongoing).

This research generated about 150 MARC pattern matches, which, when applied to a MARC21 source file, result in the categorization of the records as follows:

Categories of Work or Manifestation

• Collection work (CW)
• Diachronic work (DW)
• Collection aggregate (CAM)
• Parallel aggregate (PAM)
• Augmentation aggregate (AAM)
• Single expression manifestation (SEM)
• None of the above (N/A)
