Learn About: WEMI Links

RIMMF provides buttons at the bottom of entity records to help you to move from one WEMI record to another within a set of records. These buttons are called 'WEMI Links'. In a WEMI record, they only work to take you 'up' to other records in the WEMI tree, not down.

— Opening an Item record, shows item data, plus clickable links to other WEMI records (shown in blue), if provided, plus clickable WEMI buttons ( [W] [E] [M] ) up the hierarchy to other WEMI records, if those records are provided.

Opening a Manifestation record, shows manifestation data, plus clickable links to other WEMI records (shown in blue), if provided, plus clickable WEMI buttons ( [W] [E] ) up the hierarchy to other WEMI records, if those records are provided.

Opening an Expression record, shows expression data, plus clickable links to other WEMI records (shown in blue), if provided, plus clickable WEMI buttons ( [W] ) up the hierarchy to other WEMI records, if those records are provided.

Opening a Work record, shows Work data, plus clickable links to other WEMI records (shown in blue), if provided; but no WEMI buttons ( [W] ) are available to take you up the hierarchy to other WEMI records, because Works are at the top of the hierarchy.

Note

You can also maneuver your way around a set of RIMMF records for a resource by using the R-Tree

Go to Show/Hide: MARC Mapping to learn more about the MARC Mapping section, shown in the snaps above.
