Create New Work Data

In the Manifestation record

• Find the element for 'Expression Manifested'
• Right click on the 'RIMMF Identifier' text box
• Choose “Create new Work”
• Choose an appropriate Work template
• Add Work data
  • Add all elements needed to identify the work and describe its contents
  • RIMMF copies certain Manifestation data to corresponding Work elements, if this is the first release of a new Work
  • RIMMF does NOT link the Work data to the Manifestation data
  • Add a link to Expression data (as a 'primary relationship')
  • Add links to data for other, non-primary related entities, as needed

• Create a new Work record
  • File
  • New record for … Work
  • Choose an appropriate Work template
  • Add Work data
    • Add all elements needed to identify the work and describe its contents
    • Add a link to Expression data (as a 'primary relationship')
    • Add links to data for other, non-primarty related entities, as needed
