Create New Work Data

From a Manifestation record

• Find the element for 'Expression Manifested'
• Right click on the 'RIMMF Identifier' text box

• Choose “Create new Work”
• Choose an appropriate Work template
• RIMMF copies certain Manifestation data to corresponding Work elements (see Build WEM), edit them as necessary
• Add Work data
  • Add all elements needed to:
    • identify the work
    • describe its contents
  • Add a link to Creator data, if appropriate
  • Customize the Authorized Acces Point for the Work, as needed
  • RIMMF does NOT link the Work data to the Manifestation data
  • Add links to data for other, non-primary related entities (e.g., a Related Work) as needed
  • Add a link to Expression data (as a 'primary relationship')

• At the Main Menu
  • Choose File |New record for … | Work
  • Choose an appropriate Work template
  • Add Work data
    • Add all elements needed to:
      • identify the work
      • describe its contents
    • Add a link to Creator data, if appropriate
    • Customize the Authorized Acces Point for the Work, as needed
    • Add links to data for other, non-primary related entities (e.g., a Related Work) as needed
    • Add a link to Expression data (as a 'primary relationship')
