Detailed steps

If you need to provide data for repeated elements, you can copy an element as many times as you need.

To do this, either:

  • Place your cursor on the row for the element you wish to copy

  • and press <F2>

Or:

  • With your cursor anywhere:
    • Right-click on the element options column to the far-left of the element that you wish to copy

  • Choose <Copy>

Notes

  • If you copy a parent element (with subelements) the copy will include all appropriate subelements).
  • If you copy a subelement, only that subelement will be repeated.
  • In a template: if you would like a template to always prompt for a repeated element/vocabulary, you can copy that element/vocabulary in a template—the copied element/vocabulary will always appear as repeated whenever that template is accessed.
  • In a record: if you need to repeat an element/vocabulary for a particular record, you can copy the element/vocabulary as many times as you need for that record—the copied element/vocabulary will only appear as repeated for that particular record.
