Record Menu: Options Menu: Remove Elements

If you have filled out record data from a long template, with many data fields for which you have no data, and wish to see only the fields which contain data, either:

  • Choose: Record Menu | Options Menu | Remove Elements options
  • Hit <Ctrl+Alt+E>

This option is actually a routine that RIMMF uses itself whenever you save a record. Since records are typically created from templates, and elements in a template are not always completed in all cases, the program automatically strips out these empty elements when you save a record.

It is important to note that there is no way to undo this option, i.e., you cannot apply this option to a record and then revert the record to its previous state; you would have to close the record, without saving it, and re-open it (to the last saved version).
